What I’m Doing to Stay Healthy – Part II
Here’s the second half of the post I shared with you last week all about what I’m doing to stay healthy during this time. Here are some of the supplements and teas I am rotating through for my own health. These treatments can help boost your immune system and prevent viruses or help you recover if you feel yourself getting under the weather.
I’m sharing this with you to let you know what I’m doing and wish you lots of health and love during this time. Choose one or a few of these to try during this time, I know it’s a lot!
As always, please consult your health practitioner because I am not a doctor.
Supplements & Capsules
Vitamin D3 – I take at least 10,000 IU of vitamin D3 daily. This helps with bone health and heart health, while also acting as a mood booster. Most people have a Vitamin D deficiency and don’t even know it!
Elderberry – I typically take the daily maximum dose. I recommend the capsules rather than the syrup as it’s full of sugar.
Liposomal vitamin C – Take as much as you can tolerate daily. This is a high dose Vitamin C that offers antioxidant protection.
Resveratrol capsules – I take this daily. Resveratrol helps lower high blood pressure and helps ease joint pain.
Fisetin Capsule (high quality) – This supplement is specifically for Covid-19 prevention and for boosting the efficacy of the other antioxidants that I take including the Resveratrol.
Lutein/zeaxanthin capsules – These help mitigate the EMF influence. These antioxidants help defend your body from unstable molecules called “free radicals” which damage cells and lead to aging. Plus, this is great for eyesight and eye health.
High quality multivitamin – I take a liquid multivitamin (Intramax All in One Liquid MultiVitamin by Drucker Labs) daily. This helps me from getting sick.
High quality additional B complex – I take this daily to prevent infections. They also help with digestion, nerve function, and general energy levels.
Bio plasma cell salts by Hylands – These capsules help balance overall cell function helping shorten colds and relieve nervous tension, fatigue, and headaches.
Drops & Tinctures
Waiora brand natural cellular defense drops. This is like a giant mop for your system. It’s a large porous molecule derived from volcanic zeolite that soaks up heavy metals and pathogens including viruses, bacteria, and fungi. It will also soak up your vitamins and supplements so use it on an empty stomach.
Mullein tincture or inhalation steam to soothe lungs and calm lung inflammation as needed. I have not done this yet but I wanted to include it for those of you who may need it.
Metagenics brand Candibactin AR – Use these If an antibiotic/antiviral is needed, these are high potency essential oil capsules.
Essential Oils for Diffusing – These therapeutic grade high-quality essential oils are antiviral in the environment: clove, thyme, sage, lemon, eucalyptus, rosemary.
Zinc Lozenges – Zinc naturally reduces the length of the common cold as well as upper respiratory infections. I usually take these with me when I go out to the store.
Ginger and Turmeric Teas – Ginger is more mild than tumeric and has a similar action on the body. Turmeric acts as apowerhouse while ginger is a bit more subtle on the body. Both ginger and turmeric are warming in TCM (Traditional Chinese Medicine) so they will also support the gastrointestinal tract and the spleen/stomach meridian in a more robust manner. I recommend ginger and tumeric in the long term as a daily tea while Echinacea teas should be used in bursts.
Echinacea Blend Teas – Echinacea is an immune booster and should be used for 1-4 week periods with a week off for maximum efficacy.
