When I began creating The Atomic Element Healing Oracle, I knew I wanted to make something different from a traditional oracle deck.
I love oracle cards because they can create a small pause in the day. They invite us to ask a question, become quiet, and notice what rises to the surface. A single image or phrase can sometimes open a door that ordinary conversation does not.
But I wanted this deck to have a particular foundation.
I wanted it to be rooted in the elements that make up the physical world.
The periodic table had always interested me, not only because of its scientific importance, but because of what it represents. It is a map of the basic substances that form everything around us. The table reminds us that the body, the earth, the oceans, the stars, and the objects in our homes are all part of the same material story.
That felt deeply meaningful to me.

I experience the elements as living archetypes. I consider their physical qualities, their symbolic associations, and the kinds of inner questions they might help us ask. I worked with goddesses, angels, planetary healer guides, and other spiritual imagery that helped give each element a distinct presence.
For me, the most interesting part of science is often the part that makes us feel wonder.
The more I learned about the elements, the more I appreciated how much mystery exists inside what appears ordinary. A substance that seems simple can participate in countless relationships. A tiny shift in structure can create an entirely different experience. The material world is constantly reminding us that small things matter.
That insight became important to my later work.
The oracle helped me see how useful it can be to look beneath appearances. An element can be understood through its measurable properties, but it can also become a symbolic lens through which we explore our own lives.
What does iron bring to mind when we consider how it activates us on a magnetic level?
What might oxygen invite us to consider about breath and our evolution?
What does gold awaken in us around unconditional love and self worth?
The questions themselves can become meaningful.
The deck is more than a collection of cards. It became a language I could use in my intuitive work. It helped me articulate the relationship between the physical and energetic worlds in a way that felt accessible, grounded, and alive. As I continued working with clients, I began to understand that this language could become part of something more comprehensive.
